Inlay Collective is a handcrafted furniture and premium home décor brand based in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, India. Our products are made by skilled artisans using bone inlay, resin inlay, mother-of-pearl inlay and wood inlay techniques.

Because each piece is handcrafted, the time it takes to reach you depends on two things: production time and shipping time. This policy explains both so that you know what to expect before you place your order.

Delivery for a bone inlay product depends on both production and shipping time. Production time varies according to the size and complexity of the product:

Production time depends on the size of the product, the intricacy of the inlay work, the finish selected and any customization requested.

Customized pieces are made specifically for you, based on your chosen dimensions, colours, finishes, patterns and design preferences. Because they are made to order, they usually take longer than standard products — typically 25 to 30 days.

Before production begins, we will discuss your requirements, feasibility and the estimated production time with you. Production starts only after the design and requirements have been agreed upon.

For orders delivered outside India, international shipping typically takes an additional 10–15 business days after production is complete, depending on your destination and customs clearance.

Customs procedures, import duties and local taxes are determined by the destination country and may apply to your order. Any such charges are governed by the regulations of that country. We recommend checking your local customs requirements before ordering.

Before your order is dispatched, we generally share a photograph of the actual product so that you can review its appearance before it leaves our facility. WhatsApp is our primary channel for sharing product photographs and order-related updates.

If something in the photograph does not match what was agreed, you can tell us the changes you would like and our team will work to apply them. Please make sure you are able to receive WhatsApp messages so that you do not miss this step.

As every piece is handcrafted, minor variations in grain, tone and inlay detail are natural. Our team aims to follow the agreed design as closely as possible.

Every product goes through two quality checks before it reaches you:

• First check — Artisan inspection during production and finishing.
• Second check — Packaging inspection before the product is prepared for dispatch.

Your order is dispatched once the final inspection is complete and the product has been carefully packed for transit.

Shipping charges, where applicable, depend on the size and weight of the product and your delivery location. Any applicable charges will be confirmed to you before your order is finalised.

While we work hard to meet our estimated timelines, some factors are outside our control and may extend delivery times, including:

• Complex or highly customized designs.
• Courier or transport delays.
• Customs clearance for international orders.
• Weather conditions, public holidays or festive-season demand.
• Incorrect or incomplete delivery address or contact details.

If your order is likely to be delayed, we will let you know and keep you updated.

If your product arrives damaged during delivery, please contact us as soon as possible. We may ask for photographs of the product and its packaging. If a product has been damaged during delivery, we will provide a 100% refund.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, we recommend keeping the original packaging until you have inspected the product.

We aim to keep you informed at every stage — from design discussion and production to dispatch. Order updates and product photographs are primarily shared through WhatsApp. Please provide an accurate phone number and delivery address when placing your order.
